I have been singing since I can remember. Singing is my safe place to go. It's where I feel connected, in alignment, and I can trust and surrender. I remember who I am and what is important. I enter a sacred space where everything is being taken care of. I abandon myself, let the longing take over and allow the Goddess to sing through me. I allow myself to feel it all.
Even though I've been singing since I can remember, I started chanting in London, where I lived for many years developing my yoga teaching practice. That's where I recorded my first album 'Expansion', while sharing kirtans in various yoga centers.
Soon after the completion of this album and the beginning of a life crisis, I went off to Bali to start a new life. There I decided to focus on developing my devotional and spiritual practices. Through this process, my second album 'Into the light' was born', recorded and produced by Rob Webber music coordinator of Bali Spirit Festival.
Since then, I've been sharing my songs in thousands of savasanas, singing circles, retreats, yoga teacher trainings, festivals and all sorts of healing events in Bali, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Japan, India, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, UK, Denmark, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and USA.
When my time in Bali was over, I went off to travel with my suitcase and harmonium. I was feeling pretty lost and didn't know what to do with myself. After some months and lots of praying, I was intuitively guided to train with the Biodynamic Trauma release Breathwork school specifically, without knowing exactly why or what I would get from it. I trusted my inner guidance and went for it.
Once I made it to my first level training, and I started breathing, I knew this was the missing link in my life, for my personal healing and my work in this lifetime. It allowed me, amongst many other things, to bring the concept of safety back into my life, physically and emotionally, so I can embody the devotion and creative expression that comes through me and feel safe to do so.
I have also discover that Breath work is an incredibly powerful tool to combine with singing, and I am constantly exploring the alchemy of bringing these two practices together, in my own singing, and working with others that want to sing, as freely and authentically as I feel when I sing.
